Secures Two of Austin's "Top 50' Technology
Companies AUSTIN, TEXAS (October 10, 2000)
– Guard-IT Corporation, the Austin-based
leader in third-party escrow services for source
code and intellectual property, has added two
prominent Austin technology companies to its
local clientele.
InfoGlide
Corporation (www.infoglide.com) and QuickArrow Inc. (www.quickarrow.com), both on
LocalBusiness.com’s current “Top 50 To
Watch” list (Austin), are the newest
additions to Guard-IT’s growing list of
escrow clients.
Guard-IT founder
and CEO Jim Ford said that while most of the
company’s clients are located across the
country, the local client base is expanding with
the increasing need for Guard-IT’s escrow
services.

Escrow acts like
title insurance for a software or technology
license agreement, securing the developer’s
source code and intellectual property while also
protecting the licensee’s investment in the
technology.
