AUSTIN, TEXAS (December 17, 2007) – Guard-IT Corporation, a leading global innovator in software and intellectual property escrow service, now accepts credit card payments via its exclusive and secure "Online Client Services" site.

Guard-IT was the first escrow provider to offer online escrow agreement setup, escrow deposit updates and escrow beneficiary enrollments in September 1999.

"We, and our corporate clients, have largely been doing business for all these years via check or wire transfer. Now is the time to eliminate some more paper by accepting electronic payment info online," said Jim Ford, founder and CEO of Guard-IT Corporation.

"Our online beneficiary enrollment and deposit update features have been a big hit since we launched them several years ago," Ford said. "Now it's even easier for our clients to do business with us."

"Our whole mission is to make all of the processes, including bill payment, as easy as it can possibly be," Ford added. "We still have new clients coming in these days who are totally new to the concept of software escrow or intellectual property escrow -- the last thing we want is for it to be a complicated and confusing process."

Guard-IT is a member of the Authorize.Net merchant network. Information is securely transmitted through Guard-IT's SSL-encrypted Online Client Services site.
